Continuing Education (CE) Information

CE is awarded to all attendees, including those in the Dental Team sessions. The amount of CE awarded varies and is listed in each session description. Please see below for CE information for both on-site and virtual attendees.

For CE-related questions, please contact education@aaid.com.

Please note that if you are watching recordings for CE credit, you must watch via the website and not via the mobile conference app.

ON-SITE CE INFORMATION

On-site attendees can earn up to 44 CE hours viewing both live events (Main Podium sessions, Seminars, and Workshops*) and on-demand Main Podium sessions. CE credit is awarded per session attended.

*AAID does not offer CE for New Trends Sessions, Sponsored Workshops, or Seminars

On-site Sessions
Each session will include a CE Verification Code. Please be sure to note this code, as you will need it to complete the evaluation to claim CE. On the meeting website, click the “Evaluation” link on the left navigation to start the evaluation process. You can also click the “Evaluation” button in the footer of the presentation pop-up or click the "Report CE" button on the mobile app.

Deadlines for claiming CE:
  • Main Podium & All-Star Lectures – to claim CE for sessions you watched live, you must claim your CE by November 1, 2022. After this date, and through December 31, 2022, you will need to rewatch the presentation recording in its entirety to claim CE.
  • All other on-site sessions – you have until December 31, 2022, to claim CE.

VIRTUAL ATTENDANCE CE INFORMATION

Virtual attendees are eligible to receive CE credit for live-streamed sessions attended, as well as on-demand sessions. Exact hours available will be noted in the description for each session.

Live Streamed Main Podium Sessions
Each livestreamed session will include a CE Verification Code. Please be sure to note this code, as you will need it to complete the evaluation to claim CE. On the meeting website, click the “Evaluation” link on the left navigation to start the evaluation process. You can also click the “Evaluation” button in the footer of the presentation pop-up.

Deadlines for claiming CE:
  • To claim CE for main podium sessions you watched live, you must claim your CE by November 1, 2022.
  • After this date, and through December 31, 2022, you will need to rewatch the presentation recording in its entirety to claim CE.

ON-DEMAND SESSIONS: BOTH ON-SITE AND VIRTUAL ATTENDEES

Viewers of on-demand content can watch the sessions in two ways: with or without the CE option. Watching a video without credit will allow you to fast-forward the presentation. To receive CE, you must watch the entire video to unlock the evaluation and receive credit.

To access On-Demand sessions, click the Full Schedule link on the left navigation or the On-Demand tile on the home page. Main Podium sessions and All-Star Lectures will be posted as on-demand content after November 1, 2022. You will access those sessions through the Full Schedule link.

You must submit all of your evaluations before December 31, 2022.
